How are atheletes doing it ?

Athletes make their money by of course performing on the court or field but some other athletes have endorsements and some athletes has their own charities and foundations . They way athletes expand their fame is by standing out in their craft and they also expand their fame by their endorsements and by keep being seen on TV and commercials and on front of magazines. I feel that influences the younger athletes to reach where the older or more mature veteran athletes are , in some cases i feel that it makes the younger athletes money hungry to a certain point because now their are very few college athletes top athletes getting degrees because they are good enough to go pro so they leave school that's the only negative influence i think the older athletes have over the younger athletes . Endorsements help the name of the athlete it boost fans for the athlete and it expands the fame of the athlete , the endorsements is like the side money for the athlete . The endorsement make the company and the athlete look good depending on what they are endorsing . Lebron is rich just off of endorsements the same thing as when Michael Jordan was in the league they rich off endorsements by its self . When scandals happen athletes are looked at as human right or wrong that scandal is going viral and when things like that happen them endorsements are snatched because that makes the company looks bad endorsing a fuck up. The celeberity life style can intefer with performance i feel becuase it side tracks them they go partying or shopping when they can be working on their game i feel it can be a distraction if they let it become one

The Impact of the Media

Now days music artist making business by being the spotlight of the media doing something to attract the attention of the media . Honestly for some it' benefits them in a positive way & for some it benefits them in negative ways . For example Kanye west for example the way he carries himself out in public and the way he talks on interviews gives off that he is a ass hole and just don't give fuck when in all he is a good person he just doesn't tolerate bullshit and by home acting this way he gains support and business from people who like him and he also loses business from people  that just doesn't care for him because of his personality . So I honestly feel that the way these artist are marketing themselves are through media and the Internet , I mean everybody sees it and everyone is also on the Internet . They market they self by fashion and trends by the way they dress and the clothes they wear which is big for some people , they also have endorsements like food commercials and electronics commercials which are all media . A lot of artist now are signed to label because the label gives them that exposure and that push to get out in the public to sell . People are discovering artist now by YouTube clips mix tapes with different tracks of their music and that artist being featured on a big name song with a big name artist . I strongly feel that it's translating into money for the label and less money for the Artist because the money that comes from sales goes and videos views and albums goes to the label first and they get the main cut so often time the artist doesn't even see all the money they should because of the label needs their money to keep business but I feel it definitely brings money to both the label and artist . I don't this will effect a record company because at the end of the day the record company is always gonna be needed just so the artist could get that exposure. I strongly feel that these marketing plans are destroying the radio and cd buying because why would I listen to the radio where there's a possibility of me hearing what I don't even want to fuckin hear when I can just use YouTube to listen to whatever I want on repeat or use my spotify where I can listen to what I want for free if I don't buy the premium version but on the serious side tho why would I buy a CD or listen to radio when I got what I want to listen for free just think about it 💭💭👀

How are they ???

The demeanor of both of these guys are some what ass holeish . I say that becuase larry king is more calm but you have to listen to what he saying because he says some real ass holeish things at times he can be very rude depending upon the topic . Now Bill O'Reilly on the other hand is very loud and gets very excited and he has some real bias outlooks on our government and politicians he is very also rude and he just so fuckin blunt and out there with his. They often have politicians and celebrities. Depending upon the issue it is balanced with larry king , but no on the other hand with bill because he just so loud and he gets real bent out of shape about topics. By far its alot of loudness and rudeness on bill o'reilly part and sometimes on larry king part . The issues they both mainly talk about are politics and world wide issues . I don't know the stand point of how larry king feels about Obama but i do know that O'Reilly dosent believe in Obama at all . They way that both of these guys deliever they kinda make you second guess on what side to be on and truth be told it makes me not interested in what they are saying becuase for the 1 the shit is boring and it turns me off and I feel thats the purpose of them doing that to kinda give you a split view on politics and the president unless your really strong on who side your on . but  honestly i dont care for either for but i think they have some racis part to them but thats neither here or there .

How does TV portray our Generation

Tv has become a very huge part of our generation now . Back in the day tv wasn't major truth be told technology wasn't major but now in todays world it is. Now I feel that tv is so scripted and focuses on nothing that betters our youngins its like they consider a good show if its fighting cursing and sex is involved nothing educational or positive. These shows by far effect kids lives in todays world because they feel that they can do what they what they see .. not knowing that these shows are scripted and these people don't live every day life this way. I feel that these shows such as love & hip hop & jersey shore are the way people are getting famous now because that's what the audience want and the people are praising this scripted behavior. The issues that are shown in these shows is to get the attention and the directors know how to do just to do that shit by have sex and violence because that's what the people or better yet the audience like in todays world. These shows just potray our generation as young dumb violent and fucking horny which is a sad way to want to be portrayed its nothing amusing or cool about being that way. Maritains would find out that we and when I say we I we I mean this generation of today is nothing but followers and suckers for all the wrong shit.

The dying of the newspaper

In our generation today the newspaper has fallen. I say that because the technology has become the source for just about all information . The newspaper has lost its relevance in this day & age . Which I understand why , because its quicker and easier to find out news from a app on your phone then to travel around the city to find a newspaper that you gonna have to pay for .  Now for the some people that are older the newspaper still might have some relevance in their life as far as the news is concerned , but on the other had people that are from my generation typically tear the newspaper apart to either find the sport section comics , or to even to put on a table to eat crabs .. I mean that's just the reality of the situation this newspaper is boring as hell . Its typed small and its normally on a low reading level , and its also black & white with no colors and very few images .... you cant tell me that shit aint boring .

In newspapers such as the USA TODAY or the Washington post it focuses more the broad aspects of the USA which would be like politics , sports , war updates , world news , but the newspapers like the Dundalk eagle or the afro focuses more on the community from a local aspect like community events or job listing or rapist or murders in the area which are not as broad as the topics the USA today or Washington post has. I honestly believe that local newspapers are slowly but surely dying just based off the fact that people just don't read the paper SHIT truth be told all newspapers are dying slowly but surely based off the fact that in today's society everything is on a smartphone device on a free app , where as the newspaper you have to find someone who is selling and buy which is clearly too much work when its easier to just pull it up on your phone within seconds ...... THE NEWSPAPER IS CLOSE TO DEATH !!

What do we see ?

From the times I have been at the counter I have seen all types of magazines that touches on many topics that relate to our daily lives or entertainment in our lives. On the magazines I see images of food , celebrity couples , athletes , cars , and big homes , fashion . The headlines are cool I think some of them are bad depending on the topic because sometimes the media doesn't have full truth on some stories . I also think sometimes the media juice up some topics to draw attention off of it and I feel that sometimes that changes people perspective on some athletes and celebrities when sometimes the story gets twisted. Some headlines are positive and some are negative but I feel writers lean more to the negative aspect of things because that's  what draws the attention from the public. I strongly feel that the majority is gossip because it gives the public something to talk about , don't get me wrong there is some truth in the story but most is gossip I believe because the media never really knows the full story its always some part of the story missing. I feel that in some ways women are presented wrong , but I also understand that sex sells so if it being a nude lady on a cover of the magazine for it to sell then company will put her on front of that cover , but they also are presented in a good way when it comes to certain topics. Men are presented as dominate and strong and are also the ones the media make examples out of especially athletes. The magazines that stand out to me are the fashion based ones and the sports magazines , they stand out to me because that's my interest.Yes i actually buy those magazines. On the inside of the magazines I see pictures and I also read . I only read the articles that look interesting. Magazines draw me in mainly but the pictures . They advertising what draws people attention mainly pictures and big gold words. Yes in some way its what people want because they still have magazines and people do actually have magazine memberships where the magazines are sent to their home. In a way headlines can be both hopeful and fearful depending on the topic in a way they can be hopeful because it can have everything in it you been hoping to see or read and then it can be scary because it can have everything that you didn't want to see or read.
